Duplicate screen-element defined in page-num at location
Cause. You attempted to add a data field that is already defined on the application
screen, or you attempted to add a pseudofield that is already defined on the
application screen, or you attempted to add a point field that is already defined.
Issued by the Pathmaker product and by PMADL.
Effect. The Screen Painter did not add or modify the screen element.
Recovery. Delete or move the previously defined screen element, or choose a different
name.
Duplicate field in display field list: field-name
Cause. Pathmaker found a duplicate field in the Display Field List. You probably
added a new reference object or updated an existing reference object with a field name
that conflicts with another field name.
Issued by the Pathmaker product.
Effect. Update fails.
Recovery. Use the Reference Field Value List screen to examine the DDL structure of
the existing definitions. Correct the conflicting name and retry the update.
Duplicate field name after expansion: dup-name
Cause. You attempted to enter a qualified name that already exists. When you enter a
elementary field name and then press F2 Update, the elementary name becomes
expanded into a qualified name. If you reenter the fully qualified name into the
Elementary Field Name field and press F2 Update, you have essentially attempted to
create a duplicate field name.
Issued by the Pathmaker product.
Effect. Action fails.
Recovery. Remove the offending qualified name and use the Reference Field Value List
to select and return the field name you desire.
