Table 7-2. Files Produced by PMPROJECT INSTALL (Page 2 of 2)
File Name Description
SQLCODE A command interpreter command file for SQL compiling the generated
application servers in the current, default subvolume. Registers servers in
the current default SQL catalog. SQLCODE is normally used after using
DUPCODE.
SQLCODE contains ADD DEFINE commands for all SQL tables used by the
application and SQLCOMP commands for all SQL servers, whether
standard or custom, in the application.
You should use the =_DEFAULTS command in TACL to specify a default
SQL catalog before invoking the SQLCODE file. If you do not specify a
default SQL catalog, the SQL compiler operates as if the SQL catalog is in
the current volume and subvolume.
Note The D20 version of the PMPROJECT INSTALL generates names for Pathway objects, such as TCP
objects, SERVER objects, and Enscribe and NonStop SQL standard server classes for DB requesters,
using a hash number derived from the project name. Because previous versions did not use a hash
number, any Enscribe DB requesters converted from a previous version must be regenerated to reference
the standard server class by its new name.
You can use these utility files to create Enscribe database files (if you need Enscribe
files), and then to configure and start the test application.
To create the Enscribe database, you can enter the following command from the
command interpreter:
24> FUP /IN GENDATA/
