Press F16 from the Display Text screen to return to the Function Key
Assignments screen. Press F16 from the Function Key Assignments screen to
return to the Requester Definition screen.
e. View the default screen by using the Screen Painter.
Press F13 from the Requester Definition screen to view the application screen.
Press F16 to return to the Requester Definition screen.
f. Generate the requester.
Press F7 from the Requester Definition screen to reach the Requester
Generation Data screen.
You can enter a valid source file name and a listing device for your system, if
you want. (You do not need to specify a source file or a listing device to
generate a requester.) Press F2 to update this screen.
Press F16 to return to the Requester Definition screen. From the Requester
Definition screen, press shifted F6 to begin generating this requester. You can
check on the status of the generation later by returning to the Requester
Generation Data screen for this requester.
Press shifted F16 to return to the Pathmaker Main Menu.
13. Simulate screen navigation (optional).
On the Pathmaker Main Menu, enter the name of the application menu requester,
SQL-MAIN-MENU, in the Simulation field and press F8 to simulate the user
interface.
When you are finished simulating the interface, press F16, shifted F16, or ROLL
DOWN to return to the Pathmaker Main Menu.
14. Assign server classes to the server.
Press F10 from the Pathmaker Main Menu to reach the Application Configuration
menu. Press F1 to reach the Server Class Assignment screen.
Enter the server name (PROCESS-ORDER) and press F4 to list information about
the server. At this point, you will have no server class names. Enter the server
class names LIST-CLASS and ORDERS-CLASS and press F2 to update the screen.
Press F16 to return to the Application Configuration menu. Press F2 from the
Application Configuration menu to reach the Server Class Mapping screen.
15. Generate the mapping requester.
Mark an active server class for each service. SQL-ORDERS-LIST-FIRST and SQL-
ORDERS-LIST-NEXT are active in LIST-CLASS. SQL-PLACE-ORDER is active in
ORDERS-CLASS. Press F2 to update the screen.
Press shifted F6 to begin generating the mapping requester.
To check the generation status, press F4 to relist the screen, or return to this screen
later to read the Last Attempted Generation Message.
