The Pathmaker product treats each DATETIME option and each INTERVAL
option as a distinct data type. The only exceptions are the pairs already noted as
equivalent:
DATE and DATETIME YEAR TO DAY
TIME and DATETIME HOUR TO SECOND
TIMESTAMP and DATETIME YEAR TO FRACTION(6)
