Creating a Master
Requester, Service, or
Server
One way to help application developers quickly create an application that conforms to
your business’s standards is to create one or more master requesters, services, and
servers. Application developers can begin the creation of an application component
(for example, a requester) by using the Pathmaker copy facility (SF1 from the
Requester Definition screen, the Service Definition screen, or the Server Definition
screen.) If you choose to create masters, be sure to document their names and the
name of the Pathmaker project where they reside.
Note When a Pathmaker service is copied, the Custom Source File associated with the service is not copied.
The new service will contain the name of the original Custom Source File.
