If this error is displayed "*** Unable to open Pathmon, error: 14" when an attempt is
made to access a Pathmaker project, the owner of the project must cold start the project
using the PMPROJECT utility. For example:
3> PMPROJECT START project-name COLD
On systems with more than one version of the Pathmaker product, the product release
number must also be indicated in the PMPROJECT command if you want to access a
version other than the most recent one. See the Pathmaker Reference Manual for a
description of the PMPROJECT utility START subcommand.
Each Pathmaker project has an execution security attribute. A security violation error
is displayed when a person outside the designated group of authorized users tries to
access a Pathmaker project. To change a project’s execution security attribute, the
project's owner (that is, the person who created the project) or a person using the super
ID must use PMPROJECT ALTER. See the Pathmaker Reference Manual for a
description of the PMPROJECT utility ALTER subcommand.
