Parent
Enter the qualified name of the link field for the parent record or table. The name
must start with the reference object name of the parent. To get information about the
structure of the parent record or table, put the cursor in this field and press F9 to
access the Reference Field Value List screen.
If you are using a NonStop SQL table or a DDL record and used an alias, enter the
alias name you specified for the parent object on the Requester Context screen.
If you are using NonStop SQL, you cannot specify a column that accepts null values
for this field.
Child
Enter the elementary name or qualified name of the link field for this child record or
table. To get information about the structure of the parent record or table, put the
cursor in this field and press F9 to access the Reference Field Value List screen.
You do not need to qualify the elementary child field name.
If you are using NonStop SQL, you cannot specify a column that accepts null values
for this field.
Place At
Enter L (Link) or E (End) to indicate where you would like the child record displayed
on the application screen relative to the parent record during default screen
generation.
L Shows the child record after the parent (link) field. This is the default value.
E Shows the child record after the parent record's last field (at the end).
If the Create Default screen field on the Requester Definition screen is set to Y, any
change you make in this field affects default screen generation.
