However, if you specify more than one digit for the precision, the size of the Pic/Type
description will exceed the length allowed on this screen. In this case, you will see a
dash instead of the number:
INTERVAL MIN(-) TO FRAC(3)
If you want to check the size of the precision, use the SQLCI INVOKE command. To
reach SQLCI without leaving the Pathmaker product, use SF13-Utility Menu, then F7-
SQLCI.
If the elementary field contains an invalid data type, the Pic/Type column displays the
message "Not Available."
Occ
Displays whether the field occurs more than once; that is, whether the field was
specified in DDL with an OCCURS clause.
Functions The following paragraphs summarize the functions available on the Reference Field
Value List screen, including those functions that are not displayed on the screen.
F1-Select
Selects a starting point for the Reference Field Value List. To select an item, move the
cursor to the name in the Level column and press F1. The object's name is shown at
the top of the screen.
F4-List
Lists fields that match and follow the value in the Reference field. If the Reference
field is blank, the Pathmaker product begins the list with the first reference object in
the system.
Type a name in the Reference field or use F1 to select a starting point for the list.
F5-List Next
Lists a following set of fields.
F7-Next Object
Lists the fields in the object following the current object in this requester's context,
starting with the first field in the object.
F10-Select & Return
Selects and positions the cursor to select an item for use in the screen from where you
came and then return to that screen.
F14-Print Screen
Prints the Reference Field Value List screen.
