Field Descriptions The following paragraphs describe the fields on the Reference Object Value List
screen.
Type
Displays the object type of the reference object selected on the previous screen when
you navigated to this screen.
To change the starting point of the list, enter one of the following valid values for this
field and press F4:
DEF Start the list with DDL definitions.
REC Start the list with DDL records.
TAB Start the list with NonStop SQL tables.
If the field where the cursor was positioned before you navigated to this screen
contained a reference object, this field displays the object type of that reference object.
If you navigated to this screen from the Record Instance Detail screen or from the
Logical File Entries screen, the object type of the beginning DDL object is REC.
Created By
Displays the user ID of the creator of the first reference object on the list. You cannot
enter a value into this field.
Name
Displays the name of the first reference object on the list.
If the field where the cursor was positioned before you navigated to this screen
contained a reference object, this field displays that reference object.
To change the starting point of the list, enter any name, the leading characters of a
name, or a blank and press F4.
If you enter a name and the Type field is blank, this screen displays objects in the
following order:
A DDL definition with the specified name.
A DDL record with the specified name.
A NonStop SQL table object with the specified name.
An object, starting with the DDL definitions, that is greater than the specified
name.
If you enter a name and there is a value in the Type field, this screen displays the
specified type for an object by that name. If the search fails, it displays the first object
that is greater than the named object.
