Headings
Enter a heading code of HEAD, NAME, or NULL to display the prompt text for each
field when the Pathmaker product generates the requester's screen:
HEAD Uses the heading text specified in the field's DDL description or specified on
the Display Detail screen. If no heading text is specified in the DDL
description or on the Display Detail screen, the field name is used. This is
the default value.
NAME Uses the actual field name specified in the DDL description and ignores any
heading text in the field's DDL description or specified on the Display Detail
screen.
NULL Shows fields without headings of any kind.
If the requester type is DB, you can override these heading codes for individual
records on the Record Instance Detail screen.
Screen Format
Enter a screen format of UNC, COM, or TAB to specify how the requester’s screen is to
be formatted:
UNC Uncompressed format shows fields one under the other. This is the default
format code.
COM Compressed format aligns the fields horizontally, placing each field on the
same line as the one before, if it fits.
TAB Tabular format shows fields aligned vertically in columns and puts headings
at the top of the column.
Here is an uncompressed screen format example:
Employee Name _______________________
Employee Number ____
Address 1 ______________________________
Address 2 ______________________________
