Requester Description

Screen

Use the Requester Description screen to enter online help for your requester. This

portion of your online help describes how to use the requester you are building. To

display this requester description from your application screen, place the cursor near

the screen title and press the designated Help key.

You can enter as many pages of text as you need to describe the requester.

If you need to use 16 or fewer lines, you can type your online help text directly onto

the Requester Description screen and press F2 (Update) to commit it to the Pathmaker

project catalog.

If you need more room to describe the requester or if you would like to use the full

capabilities of one of the Tandem editors, press F8 (Edit). The Pathmaker product

writes any text displayed on the Requester Description screen to a temporary EDIT file

and invokes the editor specified on the Process Configuration screen.

When you return to the Requester Description screen from the editor, the Pathmaker

product updates the project catalog from the temporary EDIT file and displays the first

16 lines of the text you wrote on the Requester Description screen.
