Reference Object Name
Enter the name of each reference object to be used as a parameter when the current
requester is called. Each parameter must be:
A full reference object, rather than a field within an object.
A reference object specified on the Requester Context screen.
All parameters are called by reference. That is, if the called requester changes a
parameter's value, that change is reflected in the calling requester. The data types and
length of corresponding parameters must be compatible.
For example, an object defined in DDL as TYPE CHAR can correspond to an object
defined as PIC X(n), but not to one defined as PIC 9(n). Compatible data types are
described in the TYPE clause section of the Data Definition Language (DDL) Reference
Manual.
Functions The following paragraphs summarize the functions available on the Requester
Parameters screen, including those functions that are not displayed on the screen.
F2-Update
Updates existing requester parameters information in the Pathmaker project catalog.
F4-List
Shows a list of the requester's parameters, starting at the beginning.
F5-List Next
Lists a following set of parameters.
F6-Insert Line
Inserts a blank line immediately before the line containing the cursor.
F14-Print Screen
Prints the Requester Parameters screen.
F15-Help
Shows online help for the item near the cursor—a data field, the function key list, or
the entire screen. To access help for the entire screen, place the cursor by the screen
title. When you are in help, use the NEXT PAGE, ROLL UP, PREV PAGE, and ROLL
DOWN keys to see more help text for the current Pathmaker screen.
F16-Return
Returns to the previous screen.
SF2-Delete Item
Deletes the reference object at which you have positioned the cursor from the
Pathmaker project catalog.
