SEND Parameter
Definition Screen
Use the SEND Parameter Definition screen to name the reference objects that the
requester uses to send and receive data from a service, and associate these parameters
with a function key to enable a SEND or RECV operation.

Displaying the Screen You reach the SEND Parameter Definition screen by placing the cursor on a SEND
action field and pressing F10 from the Function Key Assignments screen.
Before using the SEND Parameter Definition screen, define every item in the SEND
Parameter list except pseudofields on the Requester Context screen. Also, specify a
corresponding SEND parameter list on the IPC Definition screen for this service.
Field Descriptions The following paragraphs describe the fields on the SEND Parameter Definition
screen.
Requester
Displays the name of the requester from the previous screen. You cannot enter data
into this field.
Function Key
Displays the function key associated with the reference object used as a parameter in
the SEND or RECV operation. You cannot enter data into this field.
