To find out whether the service is still being generated, you can also use:
The Service Value List screen
If a service is still being generated when you list services on the Service Value List
screen, the Title field for that service displays the message "Service In Use."
Enform
Press function key SF13 to navigate to the Utility Menu, then press F6 to start
Enform. Enter the following commands to run the Service Generation Status
report, PM30:
DICTIONARY
$rls.subvol
>?OUT
$s.#prt
>?SOURCE
$rls.subvol.
PMQUERYS(PM30)
In this example,
$rls.subvol
is the subvolume where the Pathmaker product is
installed, and
$s.#prt
is the name of the printer or output file.
To run this report, the Dictionary must already be set up for use.
Last Attempted Generation At
Displays the date and time of a previous generation attempt. You cannot enter data
into this field.
Message
Displays the status of the last generation attempt. You cannot type in this field.
Functions The following paragraphs summarize the functions available on page 2 of the Service
Definition screen, including those functions that are not displayed on the screen.
F1-Add
Creates an entry in the Pathmaker project catalog by using the information you
already supplied on this screen and the Pathmaker default values. F1 does not
generate a program and does not produce a source listing.
F2-Update
Updates existing service information in the Pathmaker project catalog.
F4-List
Shows information for the specified service.
F5-List Next
Shows information for a following service in the project catalog.
F6-IPC Definition
Accesses the IPC Definition screen, where you can specify parameter lists for service
request and reply messages.
