Functions The following paragraphs summarize the functions available on the Table Access
Paths screen, including those functions that are not displayed on the screen.
F1-Add
Adds a new access path to the SQL table.
F2-Update
Updates the information you entered on the screen.
F4-List
Lists the first set of up to 10 columns of the current access path, starting with the value
in the Access Path Name field.
F5-List Next
Lists a following set of up to 10 columns of the access path.
F6-Insert Line
Inserts a blank line immediately before the line containing the cursor. The items on
the bottom of the screen scroll onto the next page of the list.
F9-Value List
If the cursor is in one of the Column Names fields, accesses the Reference Field Value
List screen, which displays information about elements of the selected column.
If the cursor is in the Access Path Name field, accesses the Access Path Value List
screen, which displays a list of the access paths defined for the current table.
F14-Print Screen
Prints the Table Access Paths screen.
F15-Help
Shows online help for the item near the cursor—a data field, the function key list, or
the entire screen. To access help for the entire screen, place the cursor by the screen
title. When you are in help, use the NEXT PAGE, ROLL UP, PREV PAGE, and ROLL
DOWN keys to see more help text for the current Pathmaker screen.
F16-Return
Returns to the previous screen.
SF2-Delete
Deletes the access path displayed in the Access Path Name field.
SF6-Delete Line
Deletes the line in the column list where the cursor is located.
