CALL Parameter
Definition Screen
Use the CALL Parameter Definition screen to name the reference objects that this
requester (the calling requester) passes as parameters to another requester (a called
requester). Each CALL action is associated with a particular function key. Be sure to
use F2 to update the screen before exiting.

Displaying the Screen You reach the CALL Parameter Definition screen from the Function Key Assignments
screen for the calling requester. Place the cursor in a Requester/Service Name field
associated with a CALL action and press F10.
Before you use the CALL Parameter Definition screen, you must have used the
Requester Definition screen to define a requester being called and used the Requester
Parameters screen to specify the list of reference objects the called requester requires.
For example, function key F8 is assigned to call requester R202-Person-List for
requester R201-Person-Detail. Requester R202-Person-List was defined first using
Pathmaker screens where the application developer indicated that requester R202-
Person-List requires the parameter Current-Person-ID when it is called.
Now requester R201-Person-Detail is being defined. The Function Key Assignments
screen for requester R201-Person-Detail is used to associate function key F8 with a call
to requester R202-Person-List. From the Function Key Assignments screen for
requester R201-Person-Detail, the cursor is placed on the line for the CALL to
requester R202-Person-List and F10 is pressed. The CALL Parameter Definition
screen is displayed.
