MAX
specifies that when substitution for variables occurs, the variable text will be
truncated if it exceeds the number of characters given in digits . However, if the
variable text is less that the number of characters in digits , blank padding is not
done.
digits
is a decimal number that you include only if you give SIZE or MAX.
