File Format
Attribute names are case-insensitive and made up of alphanumeric characters. The
attribute name must be the first non-blank character in the line. You cannot rename
attributes that are included in the file.
Names must be separated from their corresponding values by at least one blank. The
syntax of the attribute values varies; the specific syntax of each attribute value is
described in the PMDEFLT file description. Attribute values can contain spaces
between lexical units.
You cannot break a line between an attribute and its value or break a line within the
attribute value.
Comments are designated by double hyphens (--). The double hyphen must be the
first nonblank characters in the line.
Blank lines are included for readability and are ignored by PMINSTAL.
