OUT
listing-destination
Names the output device or disk file to which the PMINSTAL listing is written. If
OUT is omitted, PMINSTAL sends the listing to your terminal. If you designate a
file as the output device, do not designate a file on the ISV.
config-file-name
Specifies your copied, renamed, and edited version of the PMDEFLT file. This
copy of the configuration file contains configuration information for this
installation of the Pathmaker product.
It is recommended that you copy the default configuration file from the ISV to the
target installation subvolume where you will install the Pathmaker software
before running PMINSTAL. Then rename the configuration file and edit it for
your site.
INITIAL [
target-subvol
] [ , CLEANUP ]
Installs the Pathmaker software for the first time onto the specified system.
PMINSTAL reports an error if this version of the Pathmaker product is already
installed on the specified system.
target-subvol
is either of the following:
system.volume.subvolume
specifies the system and volume and subvolume name where you want
the Pathmaker product to reside. The system must already be defined to
the operating system.
volume.subvolume
specifies the volume and subvolume name where you want the Pathmaker
product to reside. If you use the
volume.subvolume
option for
target-subvol
, PMINSTAL uses your current system.
Once PMINSTAL has installed the Pathmaker software, you can use the
PMPROJECT utility program to add new Pathmaker projects that use this version
of the Pathmaker product.
