PMPROJECT Utility

RELEASE
release-num
Specifies which version of PMPROJECT you want to run. Tandem release
numbers consists of a letter followed by two digits; for example, D20 is a valid
release number for the Pathmaker product. If you omit this parameter, you will
run the version of PMPROJECT that was most recently installed in the TACL
segment file.
The version of PMPROJECT you use for a project must match the version of the
Pathmaker product that was used to add or convert the project.
project-name
is the name of the project you want to ADD, ALTER, CONVERT, DELETE,
DOWN, SHUTDOWN, EXPORT, IMPORT, INSTALL, RECONFIGURE, START,
RESTART, and get STATUS or INFO information for. Refer to the Pathmaker
Programming Guide for project naming rules.

is a list of projects.
*
means all projects. For example, if you are converting projects from the previous
version of the Pathmaker product to the current version, using an * means to
convert all projects in the previous version.
ADD
Creates and starts a new Pathmaker project. When you add a Pathmaker project,
PMPROJECT builds Pathmaker catalog files and creates a Pathway environment
for the project.
PMPROJECT prompts for this information when you use ADD:
Project name
Maximum of 30 characters. Refer to the Pathmaker Programming Guide for
project naming rules.
Project catalog subvolume
Enter a volume and subvolume name, or press RETURN to confirm the
default project catalog subvolume ($VOL.SUBVOL).
Project catalog security
Enter a security string for the project catalog files, or press RETURN to
confirm the default catalog security. For file security information, refer to the
FUP SECURE command in the File Utilities Program (FUP) Reference Manual.
