Field Descriptions The following paragraphs describe the fields on the Function Key Assignments -
6520/6530 screen.
Requester
Displays the name of the requester from the Requester Definition screen. You cannot
enter data into this field.
Unshifted Function Keys
Lists the unshifted function keys. You cannot enter data into this field.
Shifted Function Keys
Lists the shifted function keys. You cannot enter data into this field.
Action
Enter a code for the type of action you would like this function key to perform. Valid
action codes are:
CALL Calls another requester. Name the requester to be called in the
Requester/Service Name column and later match its parameters,if there
are any, in the CALL Parameter Definition screen. While you can enter
a called requester on this screen before defining that requester, you
cannot generate the current requester until all called requesters are
defined.
The Pathmaker product supplies the requester for the default action,
CALL help.
The CALLed requester must be the same terminal type as the calling
requester, with the exception that a 6530 terminal can call a 6520
terminal.
DFLT Shows default values on the application screen. The DFLT key inserts
blank or zero (according to data type) in any field without a default
values. This is identical to the SF15 key in the Pathmaker product.
FRST Moves to the first page in a multiple page application screen.
LAST Moves to the last page in a multiple page application screen.
NEXT Moves to the next page in a multiple page application screen.
PREV Moves to the previous page in a multiple page application screen.
PRNT Prints the currently shown screen image on the printer specified when
the application was installed. This is identical to the F14 key in the
Pathmaker product.
RCVR Recovers the requester's screen, showing it as the requester last showed
it. This is identical to the SF14 key in the Pathmaker product.
