Pathmaker Screens

Screen Format
Displays the screen format. The Pathmaker product initially supplies the value for this
field from the Screen Format entry on the Requester Definition screen.
Enter UNC, COM, or TAB to override the value in this field. This value remains
unchanged when the corresponding entry on the Requester Definition screen is
modified.
UNC Uncompressed format shows fields one under the other.
COM Compressed format aligns the fields horizontally, placing each field on the
same line as the one before, if it fits.
TAB Tabular format shows fields aligned vertically in columns and puts headings
at the top of the column.
For example, here is an uncompressed screen format:

Here is a compressed screen format:
Employee Name _______________________ Employee Number ____
Address 1 _______________________________
Address 2 _______________________________
Here is a tabular screen format:

Title (1 through 4)
Enter one to four lines of text to be shown before this record in the requester's
generated screen.
The requester's screen shows the title text from the leftmost column of the current box.
If you want the text centered or positioned as column headings with compressed
format, begin the line with enough blank spaces to force the text to the desired place.
The last nonblank title line is the last title text shown.
For example, if you want one text line preceded by a blank line, enter text in the Title 2
field only. Because Title 3 and Title 4 are blank, the Pathmaker product ignores them
and shows only the blank Title 1 and the text from the Title 2 line.
