Figure 1-1 summarizes autofill behavior under several conditions. The default value
of a record is determined in the following way:
If the Initial Values field on the Record Instance Detail screen contains a Y and you
used a VALUE clause in the DDL, the default value is the value specified in the
VALUE clause.
If the Initial Values field on the Record Instance Detail screen is equal to N, the
default value is zero.
