ZPWY-MAP-DEF-TERM
If you specify a value of 1, the front-end process must be written according to rules
specified in the Pathway/iTS TCP and Terminal Programming Guide. Front-end
processes can use this feature to avoid loss of data.
If you do not assign a value to this field, the default is 0.
ZMAXINPUTMSGS
specifies the maximum number of unsolicited messages that the TCP queues for
the Pathway requester associated with the terminal. If this number is exceeded,
the TCP returns a TERM^QUEUE^FULL error to the originator of the unsolicited
message.
Valid values range from 0 through 2045. If you do not assign a value to this field,
the default is 0.
ZPRINTERINFO
identifies a printer to be used for the SCREEN COBOL PRINT SCREEN verb. The
fields are described under ZPWY-DDL-PRINTER-INFO in this section.
ZTCLPROG
specifies the name of the SCREEN COBOL object library file that contains the
screen programs for this TERM object. If you specify a TCLPROG file name in
either an ADD TERM or ADD PROGTERM command, the TCP first checks that file
for the requested program unit before checking the TCLPROG file name in ZPWY-
DDL-DEF-TCP.
System defaults for file-name expansion are based on the value you specify for the
ZNODEINDEPENDENT field of the TS/MP START PATHWAY command. If
ZNODEINDEPENDENT is set to ON and you omit the node name, or if you specify
\* for the node name, the node name used is whatever node the PATHMON
process is running on after cool start.
In a production environment, it is better not to specify a TCLPROG file name for
TERM (and PROG) objects. If you specify a TCLPROG file name, the TCP checks
the file every time a SCREEN COBOL program unit is requested.
ZTCP
is the name of the TCP that controls the terminal operations.
