Managing a Pathway/XM Environment
This section describes how to manage and maintain your global Compaq NonStop™
Pathway/XM environment.
The following topics are included:
For management of requester-related objects, refer to Section 8, Managing Clients and
Requesters. For management of server-related objects, refer to Section 9, Managing
Servers.
Managed Objects
You manage your Pathway/XM environment by performing various operations on a set
of objects by using PXMCOM commands. The types of objects you manage (or obtain
information about) in a Pathway/XM environment include the following:
PATHWAY object TERM objects
NODE objects PROGRAM objects
PATHMON object TELL objects
PLAN objects SERVER objects
ROUTER objects LINKMON objects
TCP processes
PATHWAY Object
The PATHWAY object represents the entire set of objects you manage in the
