RESET TERM
RESET TERM
This statement changes the values for TERM object attributes from the ones you defined
with the SET TERM statement to the defaults. This statement does not change the
attributes of a TERM object already added to the SuperCTL configuration file.
term-keyword
specifies one or more attributes to be reset. For descriptions of these attributes, see
the SET TERM statement.
If you omit term-keyword, this statement resets all attribute values to the
defaults.
Considerations
If you invoke the RESET TERM statement after the SET TERM statement but
before the ADD TERM statement, the attribute values you specify revert to the
default values.
Some required SET TERM statement attributes have no default values. If you
include a required attribute in the RESET TERM statement, the attribute is set to a
null value and must be set again before you add the TERM description to the
SuperCTL configuration file.
If an attribute is not required and does not have a default value, the RESET TERM
statement deletes the value for the attribute.
