Starting PXMCOM
If you omit this parameter, output is directed to the current TACL output file;
this is typically the home terminal.
CPU number
specifies the processor in which PXMCOM runs. Possible values are any CPU
on your system, from 0 through 15.
If you omit this parameter, the default is the processor used by the TACL
command interpreter.
NAME $process-name
specifies the name of the PXMCOM process. $process-name begins with a
$ (dollar sign), followed by one to five alphanumeric characters; maximum of
six characters including the $. The first alphanumeric character must be a letter.
If you intend to use the PXMCOM process name across a network,
$process-name can be no longer than five characters, that is, a $ (dollar
sign) followed by no more than four alphanumeric characters.
NOWAIT
specifies that the TACL command interpreter is not to wait for PXMCOM, but
is to return immediately with a command input prompt. This option is usually
not specified when PXMCOM is used interactively, but is useful when
PXMCOM is used with a command file.
PRI number
is the execution priority of the PXMCOM process.
number can be a value from 1 through 199. If you omit this parameter, the
default is the user’s TACL priority.
command
specifies any valid PXMCOM command. When commands are present, PXMCOM
executes the commands and then terminates. If an IN command-file parameter is
present, PXMCOM ignores it. Valid commands for this parameter depend on the
state of the objects affected by the commands.
Consideration
The PXMCSTM file is a PXMCOM command file that is automatically executed when
PXMCOM starts up. This file is useful for executing PXMCOM commands that you
frequently use at start up, such as commands to start servers or check status.
Note. The first command should open the SuperCTL file.
