START ROUTER
START ROUTER
This command initiates operation of a router. You must issue this command before you
issue the START TERM command for the terminals associated with the router..
router-name
specifies the name of a previously defined and added ROUTER object.

issues the START ROUTER command to all ROUTER objects in the Pathway/XM
environment.
Considerations
•
If a ROUTER process fails after it is started, it must first be stopped with the STOP
ROUTER command before it can be restarted.
•
After a router is started, you can start the associated TCP and TERM objects using
the group name specified with this router.
