General Information
Log messages have a maximum length of 132 characters; messages exceeding that limit
are truncated. All messages described in this section have the following format:
date
the date the message was generated.
time
the time the message was generated.
process-name
the name of the process that returned the event.
msg-level
the importance level of the message. The following message levels are valid:
INFO Informational message
ERROR Error message
WARN Warning message
msg-number
a four-digit number from 6000 through 6199 that uniquely identifies the message.
process-type
the type of process that returned the event. The following process types are valid:
LCS
PB
PXMCOM
msg-text
the text of the message.
For example, the following message was generated on November 14, 1997 at 11:22
A.M. by the LCS process internally named $X5J1. The message is an error message,
number 6007.
14NOV97,11:22 $X5J1: ERROR - *6007* LCS: Server retry limit
exceeded, retries: 25
date, time, process-name: msg-level - *msg-number*
process-type: msg-text
