the type of field being parsed when the error occurred. Valid field types are:
100 Logical unit name
200 Logical file name
300 Actual file name
400 Expanding actual file name
5nn EXT, 7 missing “)” in the create specs
6nn EXT, 7 missing “)” in the create specs
5 BLOCK value missing in the create specs
8 CODE value missing in the create specs
9 REC value missing in the create specs
position
the position at which the error occurred within the specified field, starting with
position one at the begining of the field
Cause. A syntax error occurred while parsing an ASSIGN statement. Note that
although the PXMCFG and PXMCOM processes perform syntax checks, the LCS
performs a final syntax check to guard against any illegal changes that a user may have
performed.
Effect. The ASSIGN statement is discarded; processing continues.
Recovery. Correct the problem and reissue the command.
6002
Cause. The $CMON process rejected a request to create the specified server process in
the specified CPU. This is a warning message.
Effect. The server process is not created.
Recovery. Determine the problem from the $CMON message text in the message.
