LCS Messages (Messages 6000-6199)
6003
Cause. The LCS process encountered an error when trying to communicate with the
$CMON process. This is a warning message.
Effect. The LCS process stops trying to communicate with the $CMON process and
continues processing.
Recovery. This message indicates a problem with the application. Check the
application to determine the problem.
6004
Cause. An error occurred with the specified parameter value when the operating system
attempted to execute a nowaited Guardian PROCESS_CREATE_ procedure call.
Both messages 6004 and 6005 report an error while trying to create a server process.
Message 6004 is returned if the error occurred when the call was being sent.
Effect. The server process is not created.
Recovery. Determine the problem from the PROCESS_CREATE_ error information
included in the message. Refer to the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages
Manual for more detailed information on the error.
6005
Cause. An error occurred with the specified parameter value when the operating system
attempted to execute a nowaited Guardian PROCESS_CREATE_ procedure call.
Both messages 6004 and 6005 report an error while trying to create a server process.
Message 6005 is generated if system message is returned indicating that the call tried
and failed.
Effect. The server process is not created.
Recovery. Determine the problem from the PROCESS_CREATE_ error information
included in the message. Refer to the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages
Manual for more detailed information on the error.
*6003* Cannot communicate with $CMON. Bypassing $CMON
processing.
