PXMCOM Messages (Messages 6500-6799)

Cause. The PXMCOM process encountered an internal error while attempting to open
a new trace log file.
Effect. The PXMCOM process continues to run but the TRACELOG command fails.
Recovery. Stop and then restart the PXMCOM process; reissue the TRACELOG
command.
6602
Cause. The trace log file defined for the Pathway/XM environment was opened in
response to a TRACELOG command. This message is returned only if VERBOSE is set
to ON.
Effect. Trace log messages are written to the specified log file.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed.
6603
Cause. The log file defined for the Pathway/XM environment was closed in response to
a TRACELOG command. This message is returned only if VERBOSE is set to ON.
Effect. PXMCOM commands are not written to the trace log.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed.
6604
Cause. The PXMCOM process encountered an error when attempting to open the
specified trace log file.
Effect. PXMCOM commands are written to the trace log file previously in effect, if
any. If no trace log was previously in effect, PXMCOM commands are not written to the
trace log.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed.
