PXMCOM Messages (Messages 6500-6799)

Cause. The PXMCOM process was not able to open the process associated with the
object named in the message. The error number is the file-system error returned on this
operation.
Effect. If the message names a NODE object, the Pathway/XM environment is no
longer running. If the messages names a server class, the LCS process associated with
the server class has failed.
Recovery. If the message names a server class, the PATHMON process may or may
not restart the LCS process. Check the LCS messages in the event log for the
termination reason.
Recovery. If the messsage names a NODE object, issue a STOP PATHWAY command
followed by a START PATHWAY command to restart the environment. This is an
internal error. Contact your service provider and provide all relevant information as
follows:

Descriptions of the problem and accompanying symptoms
•
Details from the message(s) generated
•
Your SuperCTL configuration file
•
A description of the application task that was in progress when the error was
encountered
•
Supporting documentation such as Event Management Service (EMS) logs, trace
files, and dump files, if applicable

Cause. You have entered invalid text for a search.
Effect. The command fails.
Recovery. Issue a “HISTORY” command to show the current command in the
command history buffer. Reissue command using valid search text.
