11. If desired, identify additional sets of system and CPU resources to fine-tune your
application performance. Create additional NODE objects as follows:
Edit your PXMCFG source file to define additional client and server NODE
objects and to re-specify the NODE objects used by your PATHMON processes,
TCPs, and server classes.
Reconfigure your Pathway/XM environment to incorporate these changes (shut
down the Pathway/XM environment, run PXMCFG on the new source file, and
then cold start the Pathway/XM environment).
By studying the output from PXMCNVRT and the statistics from your new
Pathway/XM environment, you can gain useful information about resource usage and
process workloads in your existing configuration. You can use this information to
decide how to restructure your Pathway/XM environment to take even greater advantage
of Pathway/XM load balancing.
