Abstract
This manual describes the interactive management interface to the
Compaq NonStop™
Pathway/iTS product, which provides enhanced, simplified system management;
increased system capacity; automatic load balancing; and other features for managing
Pathway applications.

New and Changed Information
Compaq NonStop™ Pathway/XM is a new name for this product. The name replaces the
former name Pathway/XM. After the first reference to the product name in each section
of this manual, subsequent references use the shortened form of the name, Pathway/XM.
The Compaq NonStop™ Pathway/iTS product was formerly called Pathway/TS. For the
Pathway/iTS 1.0 independent product release, the product was renamed to conform to
current Compaq product naming standards and to reflect the new internet (web client)
capabilities of the product. After the first reference to the product name in each section
of this manual, subsequent references use the shortened form of the name, Pathway/iTS.
New Features
The new features in this release are as follows:

Rolling configurations for online migrations to a new configuration (PLAN object)
•
Support of third-party Pathway/XM server class configurations using predefined
server classes (SERVICE object)
•
Support of Pathway/iTS web clients (ROUTER object)
•
PXMCHK utility for verifying named references in a SuperCTL file
