7-13 POS/TA Web Page Not Displaying Any Data

After logging in to the POS/TA web interface, in case the web page displays the message “No stats

available” then restart the POS Statgen service. This can be because there is no data in the STATINFO table

in the POS/TA database.

7-14 User Unable to Install POS Transaction Analyzer Services

In case if the POS/TA services do not get installed on your system after installing POS Transaction Analyzer, you

need to install them manually using command prompt.

NOTE: Installing a software package involves copying the services to the bin folder where POS/TA files are

stored by default and installing them in the Windows Service Manager as well.

Write the following commands in the command prompt to install the following services:

• Installing POSLogger.exe

C:\Program Files\HP SST\POS Transaction Analyzer\bin>poslogger.exe –install

• Installing POSMon.exe

C:\Program Files\HP SST\POS Transaction Analyzer\bin>posmon.exe –install

• Installing POSStatgen.exe

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727>installutil "C:\Program

Files\HP SST\POS Transaction Analyzer\bin\posstatgen.exe"

• Installing POSMaintain.exe

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727>installutil "C:\Program

Files\HP SST\POS Transaction Analyzer\bin\posmaintain.exe"

• Installing POSStatAdj.exe

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727>installutil "C:\Program

Files\HP SST\POS Transaction Analyzer\bin\posstatadj.exe"

• Installing CommandControl.exe

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727>installutil "C:\ProgramFiles\HP

SST\POS Transaction Analyzer\bin\commandcontrol.exe"

• Installing POSRecovery.exe

C:\Program Files\HP SST\POS Transaction Analyzer\bin>posrecovery –install

NOTE: The above error will occur only when you install the POS Transaction Analyzer package using

Windows Authentication mode.
