your local operating procedures.

The version of the programmable read-only memory (PROM) code is too low to be compatible
with the bootstraps.
Effect
The processor remains halted. The rest of the system is not affected.
Recovery
Replace the PROM code with the correct version and reexecute the load operation.

Cause
An attempt was made to load a processor from a tape or disk that does not contain the bootstrap
code for that system. This error is generated by programmable read-only memory (PROM), which
is responsible for reading the bootstrap code from the tape or disk containing the system-image
file.
Effect
The processor halts. The rest of the system is not affected.
Recovery
Retry the operation, specifying the correct tape or disk.
