Recovery
Refer to Processor Halt Monitoring and Recovery (page 10). Take a memory dump and contact
your service provider or the Global NonStop Solution Center (GNSC), as directed by your local
operating procedures.

Cause
The monitor process could not allocate a data segment for its helper processes.
Effect
The processor halts. The rest of the system is not affected.
Recovery

operating procedures.

Cause
A logic error occurred during the management of the monitor helper processes.
Effect
The processor halts. The rest of the system is not affected.

operating procedures.

Cause
A problem occurred when a startup message was sent to the HP Tandem Advanced Command
Language (TACL) command interpreter, so it could not be opened.
Effect
The processor halts. The rest of the system is not affected.

your service provider or the Global NonStop Solution Center (GNSC), as directed by your local
operating procedures.

Cause
A processor was reloaded, specifying an alternate system-image file, and the alternate file was
not identical to that of the processor from where the system-image file was being loaded.
Effect
All system-image files used for loading a system must be identical. Correct this error and retry
the operation.

Cause
The system terminal name was incorrectly configured. The dispatcher process detects this error
early in the boot sequence.
