Recovery
Refer to Processor Halt Monitoring and Recovery (page 10). Take a memory dump and contact
your service provider or the Global NonStop Solution Center (GNSC), as directed by your local
operating procedures.

Cause
A privileged software error occurred—a process attempted a BREAKLINK with a link control
block (LCB) not belonging to the process.
Effect
The processor halts. The rest of the system is not affected.
Recovery
Refer to Processor Halt Monitoring and Recovery (page 10). Take a memory dump and contact
your service provider or the Global NonStop Solution Center (GNSC), as directed by your local
operating procedures.

An input/output (I/O) process violated the message system protocol.
Effect
All freeze-enabled processors halt.
