Cause
The Open System Services (OSS) file system detected an unexpected error.
Effect
The processor halts. The rest of the system is not affected.
Recovery
Refer to Processor Halt Monitoring and Recovery (page 10). Take a memory dump and contact
your service provider or the Global NonStop Solution Center (GNSC), as directed by your local
operating procedures.

Effect
The processor running the Terminal Helper process halts. The rest of the system is not affected.
Recovery

operating procedures.

detected an unexpected error.
Effect
The processor running the system library code in question halts. The rest of the system is not
affected.

operating procedures.

An OSS server process (OSP), named $ZSPnn (where nn is the processor number), runs in each
processor. When an unrecoverable internal error is encountered in the OSP, the processor halts
with this halt code.
Effect
The processor halts. The rest of the system is not affected.
