DELCHAR DELCHAR removes the character at the cursor position and moves the line
of text one column to the left.
What to Enter
[ repeat-count ] { DELCHAR | DELC }
repeat-count
is the number of times to repeat this command. See “Repeat Count” in
Section 2 for details.
Examples:
1. To remove a character at the cursor’s position, enter:
Command: DELCHAR
2. To remove four characters at the cursor’s position, enter:
Command: 4 DELCHAR
How to Use
First place the cursor on the character that you want to remove. Then enter
DELCHAR.
