ERASE WORD
ERASE WORD replaces all characters with blanks, from the cursor to the
end of the word.
How to Use. First place the cursor at the position in a word where you want
the blanks to begin. Then enter ERASE WORD.
Tips. A blank or certain characters (called word stops) define the end of a
word. ERASE uses the word stop settings of the current profile.
The default word stops include “ ! : ; , . ( ). Use the RECONFIGURE
OPTIONS command to change these settings. (For a complete list of word
stops see the RECONFIGURE OPTIONS screen.)
