FINDPREV FINDPREV instructs TEDIT to locate the previous occurrence of the search-
text (of the SEARCH command) between the cursor and the beginning of
your file.
What to Enter
{ FINDPREV | FINDP }
Examples:
This is what happens if you are searching for “Publications” using
FINDPREV in the following text.
A speech on Pocket Guides for the Publications
group is scheduled for June 12, 1986. If you
would like to attend, let Dennis know by Friday
(Dennis is the representative for the Publications
group).
1 The cursor position
before you enter the
FINDPREV command
3 When you give
FINDPREV again, the
cursor points to the
previous occurrence of
the search-text.
2 After you give FINDPREV,
the cursor moves to the first
search-text.

How to Use
When you are using SEARCH, enter FINDPREV to see each occurrence of
the search-text in the area you specify.
