LOWERCASE performs the following actions on TEDIT text items.
LOWERCASE BALANCED-EXPRESSION
LOWERCASE BALANCED-EXPRESSION changes all uppercase letters in a
balanced-expression to lowercase.
How to Use. First place the cursor on the open delimiter of a balanced-
expression that you want to convert to lowercase. Then enter
LOWERCASE BALANCED-EXPRESSION.
What Happens. If the cursor is not positioned on an open balanced-
expression delimiter, TEDIT displays this message on the status line:
Place cursor on Open of balanced-expression
If there are embedded balanced-expressions and the cursor is on the
outermost open delimiter, TEDIT changes the entire balanced-expression
(including the embedded expression) to lowercase. For example:
(He <whom or who> yells gets caught.)( <
Then only the innermost
letters change to lowercase.

Then all the text
changes to lowercase.
