TEDIT Commands

TEDIT Commands There are four types of TEDIT commands:
command
command + required information
text command + text item
text item + text command
Some commands work on their own; some require additional information;
and some require a text item or text command to define their action.
Table 1-1 shows the different forms and examples of the four types of
commands.

Text commands specify an
action that TEDIT performs
on a portion of the text called
a text item. Each text
command requires a text
item.

These commands require
information that you either
supply on the command line
or that you enter alone and
wait for TEDIT to ask for the
information.
