Trace Data Record
Time at which the trace was captured
The value is displayed in microseconds. This time value appears in columns 10
through 24 of the display.
Delta time from the previous record
The value is displayed in microseconds. If the value reaches 999.999999 or
greater, then 999.999999 is displayed. This value appears in columns 26 through
36 of the display.
Trace record number
Trace records are numbered sequentially beginning at 1. This value appears in
columns 38 through 47 of the display.
Subsystem-supplied record label (required)
This label can contain up to 14 characters. It appears in columns 54 through 67 of
the display.
Subsystem-supplied text (optional)
This text field can contain up to 11 characters. It appears (if present) in columns 69
through 79 of the display.
The Delta-time field (3) is zero for the first record and for any record having a
timestamp earlier than the previous record displayed.
If the length of the subsystem-supplied record label is greater than 14 characters, it is
truncated to 14 characters.
If the length of the subsystem-supplied text is greater than 11 characters, it is truncated
to 11 characters.
The trace data varies in length. The content of the trace records depends on the
subsystem. Example 1-2 shows a portion of a trace file displayed with the default
session parameters (labeling is set to ON) and then with labeling set to OFF.
