EXIT Command
Examples: ENV Command
EXIT Command
The EXIT command stops PTrace.
Consideration: EXIT Command
The end-of-file character (CTRL-Y) has the same effect as the EXIT command.
FC Command
Use the FC (fix command) to edit or to repeat the previous command line. FC can be
entered only when the input device is a terminal or a process.
FC displays the previous command line, up to 132 characters, and prompts for editing
input with a period (.). Continued command lines, commands entered with the
ampersand (&) continuation character, are displayed fully assembled without the
ampersand.
The FC command in PTrace is identical in operation to the FC command in the TACL
command interpreter. See the description of the FC command in the TACL Reference
Manual for a complete explanation.
FILTER Command
The FILTER command sets filtering criteria for displaying trace records. It allows you to
select records for display according to the content of the record. Selection criteria
established by the SELECT command defines the initial selection environment. The
FILTER command defines further selection criteria within the boundaries established
by the SELECT command. The filter options available depend on the subsystem for
which PTrace is displaying records and are described in Appendix A, Subsystem-
Specific Information. For some subsystems, there are no filter options, and this
command cannot be used.
?ENV COUNT Displays the number of records in the current trace file. If the
PTrace COUNT command has not been issued since the last
FROM command, the count is not available.
?ENV RECORD Displays the record number of the current record.
