Nonfatal Errors
Recommended Action. Reenter the command specifying a value between 0 and 255.
Cause. The PTrace kernel was unable to allocate an extended segment used for
communication with the PM.
Recommended Action. Try running PTrace in a CPU with more memory, or allocate
a swap disk when starting up PTrace.
Cause. A file system error occurred while opening the given select mask file defined
for the subsystem. The select mask file, ZPTRMASK, usually resides on
$SYSTEM.SYSTEM, unless specified by the parameter PTRACE^PM^LOC.
Recommended Action. Determine the action to be taken from the file system error
and correct the problem. Restart the PTrace kernel.
Cause. A file system error occurred while opening the specified keyword select file
defined for the subsystem.
Recommended Action. Determine the action to be taken from the file system error

Cause. The trace file could not be recognized by PTrace.
Recommended Action. A later version of PTrace may be required in order to read
this trace file.
Cause. The last warning caused the warnings-per-command threshold to be
exceeded.
Recommended Action. Use the ALLOW command to increase the limits and reenter
the command.
