To understand better the relationships between processes and files, the matrix in
Table 3-2 and Table 3-3 shows a cross-reference of objects that make up the RDF
environment. The objects in an RDF environment include RDF processes, RDF object
files, database files, TMF files, and RDF files.
The information in Table 3-2 and Table 3-3 shows which objects in an RDF environment
are accessed by a process and what type of access authority is required. Authority is
granted for five types of access:
R Read
W Write
E Execute
PPurge
C Create (Safeguard)
