Cause. A fatal or unexpected error occurred while attempting the specified file system

or TCP/IP run-time operation.

Effect. The operation failed.

Recovery. Recovery depends on the severity and type of error. To see the text of file

system errors, type “error error code” at a TACL prompt. To see the text of TCP/IP run-

time errors, see the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages Manual. Report the

error to your TCP/IP administrator.

operation. The message is reported for host socket operations, except for CLSOCK,

which indicates a client socket operation.
